A missing person appeal case against 74-year-old Daniel McLaughlin was dismissed after a body was recovered in Scotland.
Scottish Police have confirmed a DNA analysis of Daniel McLaughlin, who went missing from his home in Quigley’s Point, County Donegal, in early July.
A Gardai spokesman said: “An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their support in this matter. No further action is required and no further information is currently available.”
Rest in peace.
