Updates on Imani Roberson's missing person case – Mother of missing Georgia woman reaches out to her in tears as search continues

More about Imani's case

Imani is married and his mother has four children aged 11, 9 and 3. The youngest is just one month old, Levett said.

He said that the two older ones stayed with his grandmother the day she disappeared.

But the two youngest are also safe.

Levett did not provide any further information about the children's whereabouts and only assured that they were all safe.

Search efforts undertaken

The sheriff's office is working with the GBI, Atlanta police and other agencies to search for Roberson.

Levett said they also reached out to cadaver research organizations and asked for help in locating locations they wanted to investigate.

More than 400 hours put in the suitcase

According to Sheriff Eric Levett, detectives invested over 400 hours in the investigation.

Some of these attempts resulted in a search warrant for Roberon's apartment.

Authorities eventually discovered her burned-out car in southern Fulton County.
