Three people who were kidnapped in Montreal on Friday morning have been located.
According to Montreal police, two women and a man, all in their early twenties, were found in good health on Saturday afternoon.
The police did not want to say where the three people were found because they are still looking for another person.
“The main suspect in the kidnapping, a man also in his early twenties, is still missing. The search for his whereabouts continues,” said Montreal police officer Veronique Dubuc.
The incident began around 4 a.m. Friday morning when someone called 9-1-1 about a fight at a residence on St. de la Commune, near St. Hubert Street in Old Montreal.
Officers arriving at the scene were told four people had been kidnapped. A source told CTV News that a vehicle found later that day in a Laval suburb was believed to be connected to the kidnapping.
Criminal police investigators are leading the search for the missing person.
