FOREST ACRES, SC (WOLO)– Forest Acres police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing man suffering from dementia, police said.
According to officials, 67-year-old Leon Canzater was last seen wearing a red shirt and gray pajama pants.
Canzater is considered a missing person at risk and suffers from dementia.
Forest Acres police said he was reported missing around 11:30 a.m. near his home on Lakeland Drive.
Lakeland Drive is close to Pine Belt and Two Notch and not far from Heyward Career and Technology Center.
FAPD is requesting SLED and RCSD for assistance and air support. The public is also asked to be alert and on the lookout for Canzater.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call the dispatch center at 803-782-9444.
