Chan Kwok-hung: Cameraman killed on set of Jackie Chan film Skiptrace

Cinematographer Chan Kwok-hung died on Wednesday after a boat he was on while filming Jackie Chan's “Skiptrace” capsized.

The cameraman, who was more than 20 years old, is believed to have drowned after the boat carrying seven other film crew members capsized off Lantau Island in Hong Kong around 3 a.m. local time, Variety reported.

The other members were reportedly able to swim the 30 meters back to shore. It was not immediately clear what caused the boat to capsize. Jackie Chan and co-stars Johnny Knoxville and Fan Bingbing are not believed to have been on board at the time, Variety said.

Police are investigating the incident, while local industry groups are reportedly raising money for Chan's family.
