A cameraman died on Wednesday while filming a Jackie Chan parade in Hong Kong.
According to the South China Morning Post, 51-year-old Chan Kwok-hung experienced tragedy after a boat capsized off Lantau Island.

Marine police are reportedly investigating, but Tenky Tin Kai-man, chairman of the Movie Production Executives Association, told the South China Morning Post that the accident could have been avoided as there were plans to discuss improving safety in film productions.
“We had discussed whether we should revise our safety policies earlier this year, but this accident occurred before our revision,” he said.

Skiptrace is an action comedy in which Jackie plays the role of a Hong Kong detective who teams up with an American player, played by Knoxville, on a race across China to catch a gangster who has kidnapped his niece, played by the Chinese actress BingBing Fan of X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
The film, directed by Renny Harlin of Die Hard 2 fame, is set to hit theaters next year. Variety reported that the film is believed to be one of the most expensive films ever produced in China.
