Nevada Court of Court to hear oral arguments in the GPS persecution in which the Mayor of Reno is involved
The Supreme Court of Nevada will hear oral arguments on Tuesday afternoon in Las Vegas in Las Vegas, in a year-long case with regard to the installation of GPS trackers in the vehicles of the Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve and the former commissioner of the Washoe County Hartung.
The case concerns a petent, who is known as John Doe, who anonymously private investigators David McNeely and his company 5 Alpha Industries, LLC, to monitor the two chosen officials. The officials initiated legal steps in December 2022 after discovering the GPS devices in their private vehicles.
John Doe, who wants to remain anonymous, argues that the unveiling of his identity would violate his right to initiate the first constitution in order to get anonymous to political activities. The district court previously rejected DOE's request to keep his identity secret and asked him to ask the Supreme Court of Nevada for a prohibition order.
Less than a year ago, all seven judges of the Nevada Supreme Court rejected an appeal to keep the client's name confidentially. The pet by claims that his first contract is at stake, while Mayor Schieve argues that her privacy has been violated.
The hearing on Tuesday takes place at 2:30 p.m. in Las Vegas with a full dish. News 4-Fox 11 will continue the oral arguments.
