The Indian army used its helicopter from Mi-17 and Chinook to look for the strangeds. At least 60 people should have disappeared, but the number is probably higher because many had gathered for the Har Dudh fair in the village of Dharali than the tragedy. The missing person also includes 11 soldiers, said defense spokesman LT Col Manish Shrivastava.
Colonel Harshvardhan, commander of 14 Raj Rif, heads the auxiliary and rescue operations with a 150-sold team.
Although his soldiers have disappeared and its base is hit, the team works with full courage and determination, said Shrivastava.
