Police appeal, missing man – Kogarah August 17th

The police appealed for public support to find a man who is missing in the south of Sydney.

The 48 -year -old Carl Austen was last seen in a medical facility in the Gray Street in Kogarah, today around 3:45 p.m. (Sunday, August 17, 2025).

When he could not be contacted or localized, civil servants who were attached to the command of St. George Police Area were notified and started inquiries in his whereabouts.

The police have concerns about his well -being when he lives with diseases that require treatment.

Carl is described as a Caucasian appearance, about 165 cm in size with slim build, light brown/gray hair, a long bushy gray beard and mustache and brown eyes.

He was last seen as he wore a black hoodie, black trousers and black runners.

Carl is known as often Lakemba, Redfern, Bankstown Kogarah and Carlton.

Anyonw with information in his whereabouts is asked to call the police or crime under 1800 333,000.
