The police helicopter, which was discovered on the coast as an explanation in the search

A helicopter National Police Air Service (NPAS) was discovered between Redcar and Saltburn.

It is assumed that the helicopter will support the Cleveland police in the search for missing Preston Man Callum Hildyard.

A NPAS spokesman said: “On Wednesday, August 20 at 10: 18 hours, a npas Newcastle crew was used to support the police from Cleveland in a missing person in Redcar.”

When he was last seen, Callum wore green loads, a blue coat and a black jumper. He also wore a black backpack.

Anyone who believes that he has seen callum or anyone who has information is asked to contact the police from Cleveland under 101 and to quote the reference number 157828.

The Cleveland police were addressed for a comment.
