Action comedy “Skiptrace” premieres on Christmas Eve – culture

Skiptrace, an action comedy starring Jackie Chan and Fan Bingbing, will premiere in China on Christmas Eve.

Renny Harlin, best known for Die Hard 2 (1990), is the director of the Chinese and US produced film. The film is about the adventures of a Hong Kong police officer.

The film's three-month shoot took place in Russia, Mongolia, Macau and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The film cost 300 million yuan (US$47 million).

The film will be released in China in 2D, 3D and China Giant Screen formats.
