Addison Rae’s mother and father have been ‘separated for nearly a 12 months’ regardless of infidelity rumours: supply

A source close to Addison Rae Easterling’s family told PEOPLE that her parents, Monty Lopez and Sheri Nicole Easterling, have been separated for some time.

“They have been separated for a year,” the source exclusively told PEOPLE. “Sheri and the boys lived in Louisiana.” (The 21-year-old influencer’s parents also share sons Enzo, 14, and Lucas, 8.)

The news of their split comes after influencer Renée Ash, 25, claimed she was in a five-month relationship with Lopez, 46. Additionally, several posts on social media (including a now-deleted TikTok) have featured him in seemingly flirtatious situations with women who appear to be around his daughter’s age.

Representatives from the Easterling-Lopez family and Renée did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Ash told Page Six, “I loved him and believed him. When I found out about the other young girls, my heart broke.”

She added: “I’m so sorry if anything I said hurt his family more than he already has. And I’m also sorry that he hurt me so badly that I thought we were in love.”

After the affair rumors surfaced, Sheri seemingly responded by sharing a cryptic statement on her Instagram story.

“Personal matters that are made public are always challenging and overwhelming for everyone involved. Nothing will happen to me,” she began.

“My greatest concern is – and always will be – my children and their fragile hearts and minds. I will always do my best to protect them,” said Sheri, 42. “My goal is to make them feel safe and secure and know that everything will be fine. Thank you for the love and support and the kind messages. It means the world to me.”

Sheri and Monty divorced when Addison was young and remarried in 2017. This instability caused the family to move a lot, she revealed on an episode of her and Sheri’s podcast That Was Fun?

“You were a single mom for a few years,” Addison told Sheri. “From about 3 to 6 for me… Dad wasn’t really in my life much. I’m sure those were personal choices on your part with Dad. ‘Hey, we’re going to need some space. We need our time to figure things out.'”
