Bharti Airtel on Friday launched an “Always On” IoT connectivity solution that will help with vehicle tracking via GPS.
With the IoT solution, emergency vehicles such as ambulances and other passenger vehicles can remain connected via different mobile network operators, thus ensuring continuous location and security.

According to the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) AIS-140 standard, all passenger buses, private fleets and other public transport must be connected for tracking and security purposes.
