Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been trying to get a divorce since 2016. Not only are the couple unsuccessful, but their dirty laundry occasionally spills over and shocking details are revealed. Jolie has been advised in the past not to talk about the divorce or the bitter custody battle between her and Pitt. But the actress left a few details on The Guardian about where she and her soon-to-be ex-husband are.

When asked about the publication whether she was afraid for her children, the Wanted actress danced around the question that she could not reveal any information about the open case. When it was pressed, Jolie nodded and signaled a “yes”. She explained, “For my family. My whole family, ”remarking that it took her a long time to find the courage to actually end her 14-year marriage to Pitt.
“It cost me a lot to be in a position where I felt like I had to part with my children’s dad.” The Eternals actress came from a divorced home and was “heartbroken” that she had to go through the same thing to her own children.
“It was so terrible”

Jolie shocked and divided fans when she claimed the lovable actor molested her then 15-year-old adoptive son Maddox on a flight out of Nice, France. The mother of six also made other allegations of abuse against the Oscar-winning actor.
Based on what you read:
The Tomb Raider actress alluded to Pitt throwing his own tricks on Jolie by getting a judge to prevent her five younger children from testifying against him about the incident. “It was so appalling that I almost have to take it as a godsend to be able to fight this system.”
Jolie described the situation as “complicated” and named her son Pax (17) as an example. “For example, my 17-year-old son Pax was denied a vote in court,” she said, calling the whole ordeal a “victim”.
“With great peace”

Regardless of the struggle, Jolie assures readers that she and her children will be supported. “At the end of the day, even if you and a few people you love are the only people who know the truth of your life, what you are fighting for or what you sacrifice or what you have suffered, you will become at peace with it regardless of everything that is going on around you. “
Jolie currently has sole custody of her five underage children Pax (17), Zahara (16), Shiloh (15) and 13-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. However, Pitt and his attorneys shot back, finding that the actor had joint custody of his children in May 2021.

The problems between Jolie and Pitt probably won’t be over anytime soon. Their battle for custody is only the most recent battle the couple is on trial for. As for the Maddox incident, the 20-year-old now lives in South Korea and attends Yonsei University.
Far from his parents’ divorce drama. Jolie admits she spent a lot of time focusing on advocacy, maybe “too much time”. At one point she welcomed the fact that “the legal profession has distracted her in a way.” Now she just wants her “family” to heal.
