Police are again appealing for information from the public, including dashcam footage, as they continue to search for missing man Benjamin in the far north of the state.
Ben, 40, was last seen on the Stuart Highway, south of Glendambo, on the afternoon of Friday, September 26. Police have grave concerns for his welfare.
Ben is Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall and of medium build.
He was driving a blue 2006 Hyundai Getz with Western Australian registration 1IGG659.
This vehicle was located by PolAir in the bush approximately 10 kilometers from the Stuart Highway near Wirraminna on Saturday September 27th.
Unfortunately, Ben could not be found with the vehicle and the police launched a large-scale search in the dense undergrowth using PolAir, SES, drones and local tracking devices.
Despite extensive searches and investigations, Ben could not be found.
Police are appealing to anyone who was traveling on the Stuart Highway between Port Augusta and Glendambo between 11am and 2pm on Friday, September 26 and who saw Ben's blue Hyundai or has dashcam footage of the vehicle to contact Crime Stoppers.
Police received information from several truck drivers in the area that day who were concerned about the way the blue Hyundai was driving and are asking those drivers to share their information with Crime Stoppers.
Anyone with information about Benjamin's movements or whereabouts, or who could assist the investigation, can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au
