BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Investigators say the body of one of the two boaters who disappeared Sunday in Long Island Sound off Connecticut has been recovered.
According to Westport police, the remains of Juan Gabriel Valle Pineda were found by Bridgeport Fire Department personnel around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Pineda, of Spring Valley, New York, was one of five people in a small fishing boat that sank near Westport on Sunday. Three were rescued.
