Brian Laundrie Replace: Newest Gabby Petito information as Laundrie’s mother calls 911 bounty hunter
FBI visits Brian Laundrie’s home to investigate DNA matches
On the ninth day of the search for Brian Laundrie, North Point Police reduced their search efforts and instead focused on a few specific locations on the Carlton reservation. A Florida rancher told news outlets he didn’t think Mr. Laundrie could survive in the swamps.
On Sunday, Gabby Petito was honored with a memorial service in her hometown of Blue Point, New York. The services were public and drew crowds of supporters to the funeral home. Ms. Petito’s father, Joseph Petito, spoke during the service and urged people to be inspired by his daughter’s life and leave abusive relationships.
Later on Sunday evening, the FBI returned to Mr. Laundrie’s home to collect items for DNA matching. When asked why the FBI needed these items, the Laundrie family attorney Steven Bertolino said the collection was “routine.” An arrest warrant was issued for Mr. Laundrie, but not for the murder of Ms. Petito.
Duane Chapman, also known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, also joined the search for Mr. Laundrie over the weekend. He was photographed knocking on the laundry house even though he was not invited in, and Roberta Laundrie called the police to complain about him. He told the media that he was confident he could track down Mr. Laundrie.

This is according to Dog’s daughter Lyssa Chapman, who says her father, also known as Duane Chapman, alerted the relevant authorities.
“Please remember that Sister Barbara took Katie away at the exact age Gabby was. That’s why dad took this case so personally, “she said in a tweet.

WATCH: Gabby Petito was in the 2013 Sandy Hook music video, “Irreplaceable”
Eight years ago, 14-year-old Gabby Petito starred in a music video uploaded to YouTube to raise awareness of violence against children following the Sandy Hook massacre.
It is titled “Irreplaceable” and was uploaded in 2013 after the mass shooting that killed 26 people a year earlier in Newton, Connecticut.
The song was written and produced by Deb Henson, who told The Sun that it was about violence against children and domestic violence in general.
“The lyrics are almost scary now,” Ms. Henson told The Sun. “It’s ironic and tragic that she is in this video and that this happened to her.”
In the video, Petito can be seen holding up a sign that reads “I am irreplaceable”. Henson said she hoped the route will remind people that all lives are irreplaceable.
“It’s been a magical weekend,” said Ms. Henson of the filming of the video. “And Gabby was just the cutest kid, she was just so full of love, she just wanted to help and get involved in every possible way.
