A Bryan woman was arrested Monday after allegedly stabbing her ex-boyfriend during an argument, according to a Bryan police suspicion report.
Tamera Unique Franklin, 20, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to Brazos County Jail records.
On Monday at 12:41 p.m., police said they responded to a report that a stabbing had occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital in Bryan.
According to the police report, the victim stated that he got into an argument with Franklin while trying to pick up their daughter, in accordance with their verbal joint custody agreement. The victim testified that he and Franklin got into an argument and that Franklin stabbed him in the right forearm as he tried to leave, according to the probable cause report.
Police later spoke with Franklin, who allegedly admitted to stabbing the victim with “a small knife.” Officers said Franklin allowed them to enter her apartment and confiscated a 3-inch kitchen knife that was allegedly used during the altercation.

Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of $10,000.
According to jail records, Franklin is being held on $20,000 bail.
