The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has closed the servers of three companies, Motolock, Taslock and Sinotrack, for the operation of vehicle persecution services (VTS) without a license.
The step is part of a more comprehensive procedure for non -licensed GPS tracking companies.
According to the local media, the shutdown has disrupted the services for thousands of GPS users.
BTRC previously warned these companies of their illegal operations, but took assertiveness measures according to continued violations.
Last year Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three people in Dhaka because they were sold illegally GPS trackers, remote control devices and frequency devices associated with these companies.
