Campbell River RCMP appeals for public assistance in locating two teenagers

Teenagers have been in touch with friends and family, but their locations are unknown

The Campbell River RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in the search for two teenagers who are missing in the Campbell River and Sayward areas.

Mason Cassidy, 15, and Mason Claybourn, 16, were reported missing to the Campbell River RCMP on March 7, but the two have been in touch with friends and family multiple times since that initial report.

According to an RCMP press release, the RCMP believes the boys may be trying to avoid contact with police and being placed in apartments by friends in the Campbell River and Sayward areas.

At this point, Const said. Maury Tyre, we just want to check in with the guys and make sure they’re okay. We are asking anyone in contact with Mason or who may be hosting her to contact police. We are aware that people may think that by providing protection to these young men they are helping, but the reality is very different and prepares those who care for and are responsible for the well-being of the boys , Big worries.
