Cannon Falls, MN (KROC-AM News) – A missing person alert has now been issued for the Cannon Falls man who has been extensively searched since Monday evening.
The alert issued by the Cannon Falls Police Department identifies the man as 60-year-old Christopher Dobson from Cannon Falls. It also includes photos of the missing man and the clothing he was likely wearing at the time of his disappearance.
According to Cannon Falls police, he left work on Dec. 2 and his vehicle was found at his home. Footprints show that he left the house normally with his dog on a forest path toward the Cannon River on the eastern edge of Cannon Falls.

According to the missing persons report, footprints were found on the ice on the river bank. Dobson's dog was found at a neighbor's house and was wet.
Despite extensive searches by professional search teams in the area, Dobson remains missing.

He is described as white, 1.70 meters tall, weighing 75 kilograms, with gray hair and blue eyes. It is believed he was wearing a long dark jacket.

The Kiwanis Holiday Light Display is free, but cash and non-perishable food donations are accepted. All money raised will be donated to area nonprofits. Since opening in 2012, the event has raised more than $500,000 for local charities.
