Chapel Hill Police Department is turning to the public for help Saturday night in a bid to locate a missing person.
A department press release, as well as a message from the Orange County-operated OC Alerts system, said 59-year-old Dimitris Pantzartzis was reported missing early this afternoon. Pantzartzis was last seen reportedly around 3:30pm in the area of Springview Trail and Honeysuckle Road – a neighborhood of Chapel Hill off Weaver Dairy Road.

Chapel Hill police described the 59-year-old resident as 5ft 8 and weighing approximately 150lbs. He was last seen in a gray t-shirt and black pajama bottoms, according to Saturday’s publication.
Anyone with information as to Pantzartzis’ whereabouts and well-being is asked to call the Chapel Hill Police Department on 911. The office number 919-968-2760 is less available since it is the weekend and the department’s office hours Monday through Friday are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Callers may also use the Chapel Hill-Carrboro-UNC Crimestoppers hotline at 919-942-7515.
