Divorced K-Pop stars Yulhee and Choi Min-Hwan go to court for custody, maintenance and asset department.
According to right -wing experts on Friday, the mediation attempt, which was brought up by the former Girl Group Laboum member Yulhee on custody, maintenance and asset department, did not achieve an agreement on March 12. The two are expected to continue with a formal lawsuit.
Yulhee, 27, whose right name Kim Yul-Hee is, and Band FT Island, 32, married a son and twin daughters in 2018. They were divorced in 2023. Choi got custody for all three children.
In a YouTube video last October, Kim claimed that Choi was involved in prostitution and sexually molested her. Choi's alleged sex crimes were examined, but the police concluded the case in November due to insufficient evidence.
Choi has now suspended all of his TV appearances, including the reality show “The Return of Superman” (2013-), where he appeared with his children to show his life as a single father.
In 2014, Kim debut as a member of the Girl Group Laboum, known for songs such as “Journey to Atlantis” (2016), “Pit-A-Pat” (2014) and “Winter Story” (2016). She left the group in 2017 and married Choi a year later. Since then she has performed sporadically in reality TV shows and also leads her own YouTube channel. At the beginning of this year, she signed with a new agency, Highbeam Studio, and was filled as a female leading role in the web drama “My Partner is a Teufel” (translated).
Choi debut in 2007 as a drummer in the Rock Boy Band FT Island, who is known for songs such as “Love Sick” (2007), “I Hope” (2009), “Heavy” (2012) and “I Wish” (2012).
