OPD NEWS:
The Oakland Police Department is asking our community and media partners for assistance in locating missing person Joe Ricks.
Ricks was last seen on October 6, 2021 at 11:30 p.m. in the 5400 block of Vicente Way, possibly en route to San Francisco. He was wearing a brown jacket, black jeans, black boots, and may have been carrying a black backpack.
Ricks is described as a 35-year-old white male. He is 5'4″ tall, weighs 150 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. His family reports that he has mental health issues.
Ricks may have employees in the People's Park area of Berkeley.
