Cobb Law Library Hosts Child Custody Lecture

August 9 – The Cobb Law Library will sponsor a free public custody program on September 13 at 6 p.m. in the Switzer Library Common Room at 266 Roswell Street in Marietta

Attorney Brandy Daswani will focus on three areas in her Custody Concerns presentation: legitimacy; Steps to Enforce Out-of-State Orders; and an affidavit of election of custody of a minor.

Registration is required for the free program. To enroll, call the Cobb Law Library at 770-528-1884.

The presentations are for general legal information only and do not constitute legal advice. This seminar does not establish an attorney-client relationship.

Custody Concerns is the fifth legal literacy program to be hosted by the Cobb Law Library this year. Video recordings of some previous programs are available on the Cobb County Government YouTube channel.

Packages of forms for common family law matters such as divorce, legitimation and name changes can be purchased in the law library. Packages range from $1 to $15. The forms with instructions are also available online at cobbcounty.org/courts/superior-court/administration/forms.
