MONDAY on “The Source” – Season two of the award-winning podcast This Land delves into a series of Native American child custody battles to expose right-wing extremist efforts to dismantle the rights of tribes and the legal structure they defend .
The Indian Child Welfare Act – which regulates the removal of Indigenous children from their tribal families in custody, foster care, and adoption cases – is under attack by conservative groups trying to weaken federal laws protecting Native American rights.
