WICHITA FALLS (KFDX / KJTL) – Wichita Falls police said a dispute over child custody resulted in a woman being run over while getting out of her car.
Oscar Tinoco, 36, was arrested on Saturday October 2 for grievous bodily harm for the alleged September 24 incident on Wrangler Drive.

The police questioned the victim in the hospital about his injuries.
The 29-year-old woman said she was on her way home and passed Tinoco’s car in the opposite direction.

She said he saw her and made an obscene gesture, then turned around and started following her.
The victim said when she got home she parked in front of it and was about to get out when Tinoco approached. Then he distracted his Chevrolet Impala and hit her across her legs with his right front tire.

A witness who called 911 told police he saw the Impala hit the woman and then leave the scene.
The victim told officials the attack stemmed from a dispute over child custody. She said her boyfriend is Tinoco’s stepdaughter’s father and they had arguments over her custody.
