The River Clyde is searched for a missing Scotsman who may have intruded.
Derek Beattie was last seen leaving Gracie’s Bar in Glasgow at around 7:35 p.m. on Saturday 27 November.
Despite a hectic search, no trace of the 39-year-old was found, who is said to have crossed King George V Bridge in the direction of Commerce Street.

Police announced today that they fear he has run into the Clyde and that specialists are being searched in the water today.
A spokesman for the Scotland Police Department asked anyone with information to come forward.
He said: “Officials are working to find the missing person, Derek Beattie, 39, from the Harthill area and their efforts are continuing today.
“Derek was reported missing on Sunday and is said to have been last seen in Glasgow city center on Saturday night.

“Investigations have led officials to believe that Derek may have entered the water around King George V Bridge, and searches are being carried out in the area today with the assistance of the Naval Unit.
“The officials continue to appeal to anyone with information to contact them on 101 and cite incident 1541 of November 28th.”
