Divorce with out alimony attributable to spouse’s refusal to adjust to courtroom order – Punekar Information
Pune, May 28, 2022: A woman has cost dearly for disobeying the court order. A man had filed for divorce against his wife, where the court had ordered them to live together for a month, but the wife did not comply with the order.
According to the husband’s application, the court granted a divorce without alimony. This order was issued by Joint Civil Judge AP Girdkar.

The couple’s names are Madhav and Madhavi (names have been changed). He has a job while she is a housewife. The couple married in 2009. After four months of marriage, she left the company. For four years after that it was a coming and going. But she didn’t come back after 2013.
Since she wasn’t coming back, the man issued her a notice in 2015. However, she did not come. Finally, through Adv. Shivajirao Deshmukh, he submitted an application to the court.
The court ordered her to come back and continue her married life with her husband. However, she did not appear in court. Therefore, in June 2018, the court ordered her to come and continue her married life within a month. However, she did not come. She did not comply with the order, which is why her husband filed for divorce on January 18, 2020. He filed a case with the help of Adv. Shivajirao Deshmukh and Adv. Sai Deshmukh.
Even then she didn’t show up. Meanwhile, the corona pandemic affected court work and restrictions were imposed. The court granted the couple a divorce once the pandemic ended. According to the verdict, the husband does not have to pay his wife alimony.
