- Erika Jayne was in disbelief over all the complaints that came after her split from Tom Girardi
- The Bravo star got some news from the press about her legal battle with Girardi
- Jayne alleged her estranged husband had an affair with a California judge
Erika Jayne didn’t expect Tom Girardi to cheat on her and couldn’t believe the lawsuits they face amid their chaotic breakup.
Jayne, 49, was reportedly “very up and down”. She was in disbelief at how her two-decade marriage to Girardi, 81, ended. “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” accused her husband of infidelity.
“She’s still in disbelief that Tom was cheating. She’s also in disbelief over all these lawsuits that nobody knew about,” a source told Us Weekly. “The legal issues unfold in turn and she learns how everyone submits them. As the whole world hears about it, she hears about it. She reads about it in the press before she even sees it [from her lawyers]. “
The Bravo star filed for divorce in November, claiming the attorney was having an affair with a California judge. On December 18, Jayne posted and deleted several text messages and photos of a woman named Tricia A. Bigelow, who allegedly was her husband’s mistress.
“This is Justice Tricia A. Bigelow. She was king of my husband Tom Girardi and he paid her Saks bill and paid her plastic surgery,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, the judge’s attorney posted a statement on Dec. 22 regarding Jayne’s deleted post. The lawyer said Erika’s “acts of maliciously falsifying justice are downright criminal”.
“We are considering our options to protect Justice Bigelow from further harassment,” concluded Bigelow’s attorney.
Girardi has not made a public statement to address the fraud allegations. The high-profile lawyer is under fire for allegedly embezzling money. Earlier this month, he announced that he was already broke and did not have enough money as his creditors believed.
“At some point I had about 80 million or 50 million in cash. That’s all gone. I have no money,” he said.
He also refused to pay Jayne spousal allowance. Instead, Girardi asked her to pay his legal fees.
