Erika Jayne doesn’t want to spend money on her estranged husband.
The 50-year-old ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star revealed in Wednesday night’s episode that she’s in no rush to divorce Tom Girardi — and that’s because the marriage to the disgraced lawyer left her from issuing child support payments, she claims.
“It’s ironic, but if I were divorced from Tom, I would have to pay him alimony,” Jayne said in a confessional, before adding with a laugh, “I’m staying married, thanks.”
The Pretty Mess writer also shared that finalizing her divorce from Girardi, 83, is implausible given the former couple’s legal and financial woes.
“I can’t get divorced now. For example, I’m legally separated, so my life has moved on and everything is separate. But I can’t get divorced now. There are so many legal issues,” she told co-star Lisa Rinna during a FaceTime conversation.
“It’s a strange time and I’m really ready for it to be over.”

The “XXPEN$IVE” singer filed for divorce from Girardi in November 2020 after 21 years of marriage. A month later, the former couple was sued by Edelson PC for allegedly embezzling settlement funds intended for Lion Air Flight 610 victims.
Jayne – who denied the charges against her – was released from the fraud charge in January. However, she now faces a $50 million racketeering lawsuit and a $2.1 million “aiding and abetting” lawsuit.
Last month, she was forced to hand over a pair of diamond earrings worth $750,000 after a judge ruled the luxury jewels were bought with stolen funds.

And just days ago, Page Six exclusively reported that Nicolas Cage’s ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton is suing Jayne and two former Girardi & Keese attorneys for alleged fraud and theft in a $700,000 lawsuit.
The part-time pop singer told Page Six in May that her involvement in Girardi’s alleged wrongdoing has impacted how she approaches future romantic partnerships.
“I can still love people even if they may have let me down or something. But I think the trust issue is probably more [important]. That’s probably the most important thing, it’s trust,” she said.

Jayne also confirmed that she was having “great sex” at the time of the interview, but has yet to make it official with a new man.
“It’s good to be physical,” she noted, also explaining that another marriage isn’t on her priority list. “I’m single for the first time in my adult life and it feels good. It’s like being a big teenager again. And I’m fine like that.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
