The two had known each other since the beginning of their careers, when Bad Boy was at the top. However, the songbirds didn’t get married until 2018 in a surprise wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Accordingly RadarOnlineEvans told the court that she had “entered into a written agreement regarding her property and her marital or family support rights, including support.”
Despite online comments suggesting the amount was as high as $1 million, the exact details of the divorce settlement are still not public. Apparently, the R&B singer submitted a copy to the court that supposedly states that it covers Stevie J’s spousal support and even his legal fees.
The file states: “There are irreconcilable differences that have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage or civil partnership and there is no possibility of saving the marriage or civil partnership.”
The messy divorce has been going on for over two years now. As BOSSIP previously reporteda judge ordered Stevie J to turn the block after the “good guy” skkr ran off to Coachella without permission with the whip of his estranged wife Faith Evans.

Faith filed an emergency motion as part of her bitter divorce. The R&B singer demanded immediate possession of the luxury vehicle she purchased after the breakup. Evans said in a statement that she paid cash for the van this year for her own enjoyment and not for Stevie’s personal use. She also pointed out that the record producer had a suspended driver’s license and was legally prohibited from driving.
However, the Sprinter van wasn’t the only vehicle Evans demanded back. She also asked the court to intervene to ensure that Stevie J could not also drive her other vehicles, including a 2020 Mercedes G Wagon and a Chrysler Pacifica.
As if things couldn’t get any worse for Stevie J, his former divorce lawyer dumped him in 2022. An “incurable breakdown” led him to hire a new lawyer named Evan Itzkowitz.
After all the drama, Stevie J poured his heart out on Instagram to ask for forgiveness. In a now-deleted Mother’s Day apology post, he wrote:
“Believe, Rene Jordan, I hurt you, disrespected you, and humiliated you in front of the world. From this day forward, I promise to listen to your feelings and be gentler with your heart.”
He continued, “I also promise to build you up even more and communicate with you daily, respect and love you until you are as happy as when we got married.”
“I have learned my lesson and I NEVER want to live without you because God knows I am a better man with you and I ask you to find it in your heart to forgive me and allow me to rebuild our trust .” he pleaded. “Happy Mother’s Day x I love you.”
Cameras spotted the fugitive couple out and about on the beach two months later. Stevie referred to Faith as his “best friend” in a video he posted to Instagram.
Stevie also posted a smiling selfie Mimi Faustthe mother of his daughter Eva, with the caption “Eva’s mom x dad.”
If he can remain friendly with Mimi, perhaps he and Faith can remain friends despite their long, messy divorce.
