Cordele, Ga. (WGXA) – The Cordele Police Department (CPD) hopes that the community can help find a 19-year-old girl who has been missing since early Sunday morning.
According to a CPD, Nyeasha Pickens was last seen around 2:00 a.m. in the 402 S 7th Street in Cordele.
Pickens is 5 foot 6 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. She was last seen how she was wearing a white crop top and cheetah -print shorts with the words “Big Mama” on the back. She can also have red highlights in her hair.
Her grandmother, Donna Lewis, says that her granddaughter is actually closer to 5 '9 despite the description report.
Her grandmother spoke to WGXA on Wednesday and said Pickens was recently known that he was together with the family. They thought she would go to a party in an apartment. According to Lewis, the people who were at this party say they never saw them there.
On Thursday, the WGXA received an incident report from the mother 'mother of Pickens' mother on Monday, July 7th. The responding officer wrote that Pickens had dropped her younger sister at home around 2:00 a.m. and had left with her cousin Jones.
Pickens' cell phone location showed that they and Jones went into the enemarket, but when they arrived, the phone of picke died either or switched off because there were no further updates. However, Jalon, chief of police from Cordele, heard that surveillance showed the picke that the petrol station left in a vehicle.
The reporting officer turned to Jones, who said he and Pickens met with one of her “male friends”, possibly Quan, and she went with her girlfriend. Since then, nobody has seen or heard of Pickens, and Chief Heard told the WGXA investigators to “confirm the accuracy of this account”.
Chef Heard added that the family is extremely concerned that picke missed the work because she was different.
According to the CPD, it actively examines the disappearance of picke and asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) for support.
“The officials did neighborhoods, the following leads and everything to find Ms. Pickens,” wrote the police authority in a Facebook post. “At that time, her family and friends are extremely concerned about their security, and we share this concern.”

Family, friends and the police ask for clues.
“One thing I heard is that the police authority has to wait for a certain waiting time before we actually work on a case of a missing person, and that is not the case here,” Chef Heard told WGXA. “This is not the case for missing people in the city of Cordele. If we receive information someone missing, we are looking for active and there.”
On Thursday, Crisp County's Sheriff's office sat down and offered the family in a contribution on Facebook.
“Our hearts go to Ms. Pickens' family,” wrote the sheriff's office. “We cannot imagine how pain you have and we want you to know that you stay in our thoughts and asked.”
Anyone who knows the location of Nyeasha or has heard of her is asked to call Cordele's police department at (229) 276-2921, to call an anonymous tip about Crisp County E-911 or local law enforcement authorities.
