NASHVILLE (WSMV) – A man was arrested and released from Davidson County Jail after drawing a gun during a December custody change.
According to an arrest warrant, Jalin M. Vinsang, 27, came to a meeting point on December 12, 2021 to drop his son off with his maternal grandmother.
At the meeting point, the grandmother and Vinsang began to argue that the child was not properly secured in the vehicle.
After noticing a passenger in the vehicle with the grandmother, Vinsang got even angrier and declared that he did not want his son anywhere near the passenger and began to use derogatory expressions.
Vinsang pulled out a small black handgun and pointed it at Grandmother before being pulled back into his vehicle by a third party and leaving the scene.
Vinsang was arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm with a lethal weapon and is on trial in February.
