The Frederick County Sheriff located a missing and vulnerable person in Stephens City on Friday afternoon.
The person was reported missing around 10am when a son reported that his 74-year-old mother had left the home.
The woman was found in a bush by Deputy Dan Clark and his Bloodhound beau.
She suffered from mental health issues and had taken numerous prescriptions to harm herself.
She was then transported to Winchester Medical Center by Stephens City Fire and Rescue.
Sheriff Lenny Millholand would like to remind residents that if you have family members with conditions that may cause them to migrate, they should contact the sheriff’s office for more information about Project Lifesaver.
