Girl busts her husband for having six-month affair with 19-YEAR-OLD – pens guide on his infidelity

A woman who claims she busted her husband for having a six-month affair with a 19-year-old girl has revealed how she got the ultimate revenge by penning a best-selling book about his alleged infidelity and the impact it had on her life.

Gabrielle Stone, 33, from Los Angeles, California, got engaged to her husband, whose name is unknown, after eight months of dating.

They were engaged for two years then married for two more, before she says she caught him cheating on her in 2017 – with someone who was more than 10 years younger than her.

However, just two weeks after splitting from her husband, the actress, director, and author reconnected with an old friend, named Javier, and they quickly fell in love.

They had a two-month whirlwind romance, but just when they were about to jet off to Italy together for a romantic vacation, he dumped her.

Rather than sitting home and wallowing in her heartbreak, Gabrielle decided to go on the trip anyway – and traveled across Europe by herself.

She then wrote two books about the experience – called Eat, Pray, #FML and The Ridiculous Misadventures of a Single Girl – earning herself a spot on the best seller list in the process.

She recently reflected on the scandal in a recent TikTok video, which has since gone viral – receiving more than 54 million views and five million likes.

‘My husband had an affair with a 19-year-old for six months. There were photos of her on our living room sofa. He went on vacation with her parents, lied and told them his name was Daniel,’ she claimed in the clip, which showed her dancing to the song Do It To It by ACRAZE.

‘I filed for divorce, wrote a best-selling book about it all, bought my own house, and named his character “Daniel.”‘

In an exclusive interview, Gabrielle told DailyMail.com that although ’90 per cent of the time, their relationship was great,’ she did see some ‘red flags’ early on that indicated her husband wasn’t the man she originally thought he was.

‘There were red flags from the beginning in the sense that he was never okay with my career. He met me as an actress and any time I had to be on set or do anything physical with another actor, there was hell to pay,’ she alleged.

‘He would call me crying and picking fights. I always told myself we would work though it in therapy (which we were attempting to) but I didn’t see how bad the jealousy and control issues were that he had – which is of course, ironic, considering he was the one who ended up cheating.’

She added that on the outside, he was a ‘total nice guy who everyone loved.’ But in reality, she was ‘unhappy for roughly six to seven months’ before they split.

And after she says she caught him cheating – which she claims she figured out after she found his second phone, uncovered hotel reservations, and noticed him going on shopping sprees – she realized she was never actually in love with him at all.

‘I felt betrayed and enraged. I had been unhappy for roughly six to seven months, I just didn’t know why. We were going to therapy and I was working really hard to get back to a place of love and happiness,’ she said.

‘After the divorce and the next relationship I had, I realized that I was never truly “in” love with my husband. He was safe.

‘I had lost my father at age six and my high school sweetheart at eighteen – which developed a belief in my subconscious, “When I love someone, they die.”

‘So, I married a man I wasn’t fully in love with (unconsciously, of course) because he was safe.

‘When I found everything, I wasn’t heartbroken. I felt betrayed. The level of disrespect of my body, the depth of the lies… it was like being stabbed by your best friend.’

Gabrielle told us that she uncovered the truth while he was on a business trip with his mistress, and waiting for him to come home so she could confront him was like torture.

‘The worst part was the two weeks that I had found everything, I filed for divorce, but was waiting for him to return from a work trip (well, a work trip he was on with his 19-year old girlfriend) so that I could serve him the papers,’ she recalled.

‘I had to pretend everything was normal, trying to figure out what my life was going to look like. Only a few of my girlfriends knew. It was the most debilitating anxiety I’ve ever experienced.

‘The divorce itself took about a year. He unfortunately dragged it out a lot more than it should have been. He was using a family friend criminal justice attorney for free, and they would continuously do things incorrectly so the process took forever.

‘He even asked for my ring back – to which my attorney responded, it had already been sold to pay for the Europe trip.’

However, Gabrielle said that the divorce was only the ‘initial blow,’ and that the ‘real heartbreak came after’ – when Javier dumped her.

She told us: ‘I got a message from a man I had casually gone on two dates with back in my younger years before I met my ex-husband. So when he reached out to me on social media I felt like it would be a fun night out with someone casual. I was wrong.

‘We had a whirlwind romance and it almost seemed like the universe had orchestrated the cheating and divorce so that we could find each other. We fell madly in love, quickly.

‘He convinced me to join him on a month-long trip to Italy with him. We were blissfully in love – meeting his family, planning a year down the road, everyone telling me [he] was the one.

’48 hours before getting on the plane, he told me he needed to go by himself. I was absolutely devastated. That was where the heartbreak happened.

‘He had lost his brother a year-and-a-half earlier to suicide and when he fell in love with me, all that grief he had stuffed down flooded to the surface.

‘But it was by no means a clean or easy break – I myself have dealt with a lot of grief in my own life and defended his decision fiercely even with my broken heart. What took place after that was a roller coaster ride of confusing emotions.

‘I was devastated. I had never had my heart broken and to have it happen after my marriage ending really traumatically was even worse.

‘I now know from my readers how common it is to fall into something so serious after a marriage or relationship ends. And for some reason, those short lived passion filled romances are always ten times worse.

‘But I had a decision to make – stay at home heartbroken or go travel Europe for a month by myself. I took the trip solo, did six countries with a backpack and a journal.’

In the end, the 33-year-old said she still believes that everything happened for a reason and that she is thankful for the experience.

‘I’m a big believer in everything happens for a reason – sometimes you just can’t see it when it’s happening in the moment. But even with all the heartache I was experiencing, it all made sense,’ she added.

‘Since I lost my dad when I was a little girl, I’ve always had a fear of abandonment. Not feeling okay by myself. This was the universes way of making me go face all of that, head on, to finally heal it.

‘There was never really a question of if I was still going to go. I knew I had to. And I knew that everything that was happening to me was for a much bigger purpose.

‘Within two months I had found out about my husband’s affair, fallen in love, and gotten my heart shattered. So, might as well add a month-long soul-searching trip in Europe right?’

Although she admitted she was ‘terrified at first,’ she called the trip ‘incredibly freeing’ – and even ‘life-changing.’

‘It allowed me to meet people and have the freedom to join them at different places, not have any set plans or schedules. It was incredibly freeing and I realized how capable and safe I am on my own – which was life-changing for me,’ she said.

‘I wrote three-fourths of the book on that trip by hand. If you go back and look at the journal, it’s extremely close to how the finished book was published.

‘I wasn’t writing thoughts in a journal – if you open it up it says, “Chapter 1.” I just knew that everything I had gone through was meant to be written about to help others heal. And for me, the writing was therapy. I don’t think I would have gotten through 2017 without it.’

Gabrielle said that writing the book allowed her to ‘find her purpose’ and that she is proud of herself for ‘turning the most painful year of her life into something that is helping so many people.’

‘I felt when I was writing it that I had suddenly found my purpose, and the success both books have seen and the community that’s come from them has affirmed that,’ she continued.

‘Heartbreak and grief is universal. The messages I get from women (and men) around the world has been the most fulfilling thing I have done in my life.

‘To know that the most painful year of my life turned into something that is helping so many people in such a life-changing way is absolutely incredible.

‘I would go through everything ten times over to end up where I am, helping people, living this life, now.’

She concluded, ‘Trust the universe. It always has your back. It may seem like your life is absolutely crumbling around you with blow after unfair blow. But it is simply clearing the way for you to truly find your magic.

‘Trust in it. Everything really does happen for a reason – you just have to make it worth it.

‘No matter what you’re going through, how heartbroken you are, and how dark it may seem – there is a light at the end of the tunnel. And I promise you, it is more beautiful than you could ever imagine… So keep going.’

She also had one final message to both of her exes: ‘Thanks, boys.’
