They say: “Hell has no anger like a despised woman”. Whoever invented this phrase must have been referring to Chrissy Blake.
The 41-year-old from Massachusetts in the USA wanted to officially end her three-year marriage with her cheating ex-husband with a “light” note.
Instead of drowning her worries, the nutritionist took inspiration from social media after coming across posts from divorced divorced people who solemnly burned their wedding gowns.
Speaking to UK publication The Mirror, she said the country-themed dress demolition “shut her down” after a tough divorce.
Blake said her ex cheated on her six times during their marriage, with the first affair happening before they even tied the knot.
To drive out her marriage demons, she enlisted the help of Emily Marie Photography.
Some of the snapshots show Blake dragging across the floor in her wedding dress.
Another shows her holding a bottle of alcohol while watching her dress go up in flames in a spectacular way.
As a thank you to her ex, Blake is sitting in a little black dress that says “I would wish you the best, but you already had it!”
The winking photoshoot was a way for Blake to do something funny to mark the end of their marriage. “I thought it would take me to graduation and be a big f *** for you. It looked so fun, ”she told The Mirror.
“What else should I do with a wedding dress? I don’t believe in selling it once it’s worn, my daughter didn’t want it.
“Even though it was a $ 1,400 dress, it would give me the clasp I needed,” she concluded.
