GPS device: GPS tracking device mandatory for food trucks in Delhi | Delhi News

New Delhi: The Delhi government has threatened strict action against deliberate delays in food supply by transporters and ordered that no truck loaded with food grains will be allowed on the roads without GPS tracking device. In a meeting with DSCSC director general on Wednesday, Food and Supplies Minister Imran Hussain reviewed the supply of food grains from the FCI warehouses to the fair price shops in the city. In view of the rainy season, food-laden trucks will have to be covered with waterproof tarpaulins. No truck carrying food grains will be allowed on the roads without GPS tracking device, Hussain said. Sufficient food is available in the city and the fair price shops are distributing free food grains to all beneficiaries under NFSA 2013. PTI
