GPS monitoring for early monitoring of meals provides Jaipur information

Jaipur: The food and civil supplies department will set up a GARD (Grains Accounting Receipt Deposit) system to closely monitor the entire process of distributing wheat to NFSA beneficiaries, starting with the withdrawal of food from godowns by food companies, said the Secretary of the Naveen Jain Department on Monday.
“To improve the food delivery and distribution process within the national food security system, all Food Corporation of India (FCI) stores and depots will be geotagged at fair prices,” he said. He also announced that GPS tracking devices will be installed in all vehicles used to lift food from FCI godowns in order to expedite the delivery of wheat to fair priced stores as part of supply chain management. “Transparency in the transportation of wheat released by FCI godowns to consumers is brought about through better use of technology,” he added.
