GPS tracking leads to an arrest in the kinston stolen vehicle housing

Kinston, NC (Witn) – The police from Kinston says that GPS tracking has helped the officials to find a stolen vehicle and to arrest in a nearby district.

On Friday, the officials were called to a house on Duggins Drive for a stolen vehicle. The owner gave the police GPS location data that showed that the car was in Jones County.

The police worked with the Sheriff's office by Jones County. The deputies found the stolen vehicle and tried to carry out a traffic stop.

The police say that the driver Alexis Adam refused to stop and started. After a short persecution, the 27-year-old Kinston woman was taken into custody.

She received an arrest warrant for theft of a motor vehicle and booked in the Jones County prison.

Kinston's police thanks the Sheriff's office for his quick answer and help in the case.
