Srinagar: Police in Kulgam today attached a GPS tracking device to a person who was granted bail by the court in a UAPA case at Qaimoh police station, a police spokesperson said.
It said the accused was arrested in case FIR No. 37/2019 under Sections 13, 16, 19, 20, 38, 39 UA(P) Act and 7/25 Arms Act and was released on bail recently. The GPS anklet will be used to monitor his movement and ensure he does not violate bail conditions, police said.
