Greeley Police to organize a missing person on the open day on July 23rd

The Greeley police department will organize an open day on July 23, which is supposed to help people with beloved people who have been reported as missing.

According to a press release from the agency, the open house runs from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Greeley Police Department, 2875 W. 10TH ST ..

From August 2024, more than 1,200 people were reported in Colorado, according to the publication.

Those who are missing a family member are encouraged to take up the most recent photo of the missing person and all medical or dental records. For biological family members, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation will be present to collect DNA through a cheek smear.

Each DNA collected is only used for identification purposes in the case of the missing person, according to the publication.

If someone has a loved one who misses but has not yet been reported as missing, the department asks to submit a report before participating.
