ST. PAUL, Neb. (KSNB) – A missing man was found dead Sunday by Hastings Police.
The St. Paul Police Department received a report Saturday that James “Jimmy” Jacobsen was missing. Jacobsen had left home at 9:30 a.m. and wanted to visit some stores in St. Paul. Police said he was supposed to return home a short time later, but never did.
The St. Paul Volunteer Fire Department and EMS assisted in the search for Jacobsen. The search was called off after an extensive search of St. Paul and Howard County and Jacobsen was listed as a missing person.
At 11 a.m. Sunday, Hastings police found Jacobsen dead.
According to the St. Paul Police Department, no crime is suspected. Further information is currently not available.
