His Storyy Trailer: Satyadeep Misra, Priyamani come collectively for this story of infidelity and social homophobia

After being paused for decades and temporarily banned, the audience is finally in love with the cinematic renaissance. Yes! We’re talking about the LGBTQ movies / shows that aim to change social perception. While ZEE5 has a number of these non-normative dramas, it always aims to treat viewers with a new perspective. Say it like this ZEE5’s upcoming original show ‘His Storyy’ will be about homophobia albeit with a new perspective. The show’s trailer was released recently and is loved by the masses.

The trailer opens with the “perfect life” picture of The marriage of Kunal (Satyadeep Misra) and Sakshi (Priyamani). Her long love life has made her the epitome of a couple made for each other. They have two sons and lead a life one would only wish for. The image conflict arises, however, when Sakshi realizes her husband’s homosexual affair. The perfect image of life turns into a “perfect lie” that leads to chaos in your life. It’s only two minutes to the trailer and you’re screaming for more!

The show shows the complexities of society in dealing with homosexual relationships. While it is about homophobia, one interesting aspect of ‘His Storyy’ is that it treats you with different perspectives. As shown in the trailer, the show shows different sides, ie perspectives in relation to the factor “men in love”. The problems in Kunal and Saskhi’s marriage play out as an external conflict, while they accept reality as an internal battle.

Continuing on in the trailer, the duo deal with the dilemma of confronting their children while their happy lives collapse. And this is another aspect where the show aims to make a strong but relevant commentary. The trailer promises a life story full of conflict. To be exact, His story appears to be both emotionally compelling and socially relevant. While most LGBTQ stories become more preaching, His Storry chooses the route of subtlety to tell a drama that goes against the norm.

From the trailer we can say that the issue of homosexuality has been treated with the utmost sensitivity. His storyy consists of an extremely talented cast, including Satyadeep Misra, Priyamani and Mrinal Dutt at the helm. The show is slated for release on April 25, 2021.

In the meantime, stay tuned ZEE5 for more interesting content and stories.
