How much maintenance will Natasa get? Hardik Pandya had prepared for this day long in advance

After Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic confirmed their divorce, an old video featuring India's star all-rounder has resurfaced. The clip is being widely shared on social media as it answers the burning question: how much money will Natasa get as alimony after the divorce?

Long before the divorce, there were rumors that the Serbian model and dancer could demand up to 70 percent of her ex-husband's total assets as maintenance.

Now that the couple has mutually decided to separate, two questions arise: a) who will get primary custody of their four-year-old son Agastya and b) how much maintenance will Natasa receive?

Hardik and Natasa have answered the first question in their joint statement, saying that they will share the upbringing of their son. The answer to the second question can be found in the viral video.

As it appears Hardik Pandya had prepared well for this day. In the old video, he could be heard saying that his mother was an equal partner in everything he owned, from houses to cars to bank accounts. Not just Hardik, his mother was an equal partner in everything that belonged to his family, including his father and elder brother Krunal.

To justify this step, he categorically stated that he did not want to part with half of his net assets in the event of a divorce.

“Mom said, 'Tumhare accounts, my main partner, rahungi' (I will be a partner in all your accounts). So my mother's name is in all our accounts – father, Krunal and me. Everything is in her name,” Hardik had said on Gaurav Kapur's 'Breakfast with Champions'.

“From cars to houses to everything else, everything is in her name. Mera bharosa nahi (I don't trust myself). I will not take anything in my name, I don't want to give 50% to anyone in future (laughs),” he added.

“I told them it's better if you keep 50% with you so that I don't lose it even if something happens,” Hardik said in an interview in 2018.

Knowing his nature, Hardik Pandya perhaps knew that this day might come and he had prepared for it long in advance.

By making his mother an equal partner in all his assets, he certainly saved a lot of money.
