Police arrested a Valencian man who allegedly beat and sexually abused his wife after accusing her of infidelity.

Neighbors heard the victim’s screams and contacted the police who carried out the arrest.

The couple were at home on Wednesday evening when the man started arguing with his wife.

Police were told the incident escalated to violence when the man accused her of infidelity and allegedly beat her.

The man then ordered the victim to undress and allegedly sexually abused her.

The victim yelled and alerted neighbors who contacted the Valencia Police Station.

The officers responded and arrested the suspect.

The victim was taken to the Sangre Grande Area Hospital.

The suspect is due to be charged with serious sexual assault.
