Hyderabad: A person drowns his 8-month-old son to demise after suspecting his spouse of infidelity

In a shocking incident from Telangana, a man allegedly drowned his 8-month-old son to death while suspecting his wife of infidelity. The incident occurred in Shamshabad on Wednesday. The case became known after the man told his neighbor about the incident.

The 25-year-old defendant has been identified as G Vikram Kumar, who is from the village of Thondupally near Shamshabad and works as a hairdresser. Kumar married Spandana five years ago. Who is a native of Shamshabad.

Not that long ago, Vikram Kumar became suspicious of his wife and assumed that they were in love. On Tuesday, Vikram had an argument with his wife and around 1:30 a.m. when the woman fell asleep, he took the 8-month-old child and allegedly drowned it in the water swamp.

After the incident, the defendant could not sleep and walked around the house. A neighbor of the couple saw the man and invited him to drink tea in a nearby shop. When Kumar walked into the store, he told the neighbor that he had drowned his son in the swamp, reported The Times of India.

The neighbor took the defendant back to his home and woke his wife. They took the boy out of the water and took him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The defendant was taken into custody on the basis of the complaint filed by Spandana’s uncle. Kumar was booked under Section 302 (Murder) of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC). It was produced in court on Thursday.
