Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd is accused of having an affair by estranged wife Alice Evans. Gruffudd filed for divorce from Evans in March that year, and according to E! News, he’s already moved on to his next relationship. The actor posted a new photo on his Instagram with a touching message to his likely new love interest, Australian actress Bianca Wallace.
“Thanks for making me smile again @iambiancawallace,” he wrote under a photo of the two sitting next to each other on the set TV series Harrow. Wallace revealed that she has similar feelings and posted the same picture on her page.
Evans hit social media shortly afterwards and vented her confusion. The Vampire Diaries alum shared a picture she allegedly took of Gruffudd, but revealed that he had told her daughter a different story. “I have no words. My husband sent this to Elsie, our 8 year old, last week and asked her if she thought he was a good photographer. I’m lost. Totally lost and sad and confused …” she wrote .
She followed up on the news, accusing him of having an affair for the last three years of their relationship. “So it turns out that after telling me for two years that my husband is a bad person, I’m not exciting, and he doesn’t want to have sex with me and just wants to be on set abroad … turns out to be my husband … Has been in a relationship for THREE years behind our backs. Someone who claims to have worked as a crew member on the Harrow set came to Wallace’s defense. “I have known Bianca personally for years and they have NOT known each other for three years, let alone an affair !!” they said in response to Evans’ tweets. “I have permission from both of them to comment on something. They started talking about acting on set, nothing personal, he also talked to me about my writing, I think with you I had an affair with him too. Me don’t call it talking about careers and affair! “
Evans announced their split in January, telling followers that her husband “has announced that he will be leaving his family starting next week”. The actress, who shares two children with Gruffudd, said: “I and the girls of our little daughters (sic) are very confused and sad. We got no reason why he no longer loves me.”
Hours after Evans publicly accused her husband of infidelity, she returned and said, “Still nothing. We were together for 20 years. We spoke at least three or four times a day. ”The couple met on the set of the 2000 film 102 Dalmatians. “He was my best friend, my twin soul. I don’t know how to go on. I will, but right now I have no idea, ”she said.
A spokesperson for Gruffudd told the outlet in a statement: “As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for our family and we remain committed to our children.”
