Isha Koppikar was quite a popular name back then. She has been absent from the screen for a while and has always been very transparent that the casting couch exists in Bollywood. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she has lost some projects in the industry due to her no-nonsense attitude where she doesn’t want to entertain anyone outside of work. Scroll down to read the scoop.

Isha used to do some amazing movies in Bollywood including Don, Krishna Cottage and Kya Kool Hai Hum to name a few. In the recent chat, Isha shared how a director told him to be in a hero’s good books and asked her to meet the hero alone without her staff. For obvious reasons, the actress refused and was kicked out of the film.

In an interview with the Bombay Times, Isha Koppikar said: “I’m a no-nonsense girl and that’s the vibe I exude. A lot of people misinterpret it as intimidating. I’m here because of my work. If i like you i will talk to you if you mess with me good luck to you. I lost a lot of projects because of this attitude.”

Echoing an incident from the mid-2000s, Isha Koppikar said: “In the mid-2000s, a renowned producer called me and said that you have to be in the good books of the hero. I didn’t know what he meant. So I called the hero who asked me to meet him alone. At that point he was accused of infidelity, so he asked me to visit him without my staff. I called the producer and told him I’m here because of my talent and my looks and if that can get me a good job then it’s good enough. I got kicked out of the movie.”
