James “Jay” Montoya, 26, missing person, Denver Police Department investigation

A local man has been missing for over a month and Denver Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating him.

James “Jay” Montoya, 26, was last seen exiting Hangar 101 Bar & Grill on West Jewell Avenue in Lakewood around 2:30 a.m. on April 2, according to an alert from Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.

The Denver Police Department, which is leading the missing persons investigation, said Montoya was last seen in a limousine with conspicuous paintwork.

According to Denver7, Montoya last posted a snap chat from the West Alameda Avenue and Federal Boulevard area. His family said Montoya left the bar with someone they didn’t know.

Anyone who has seen Montoya or knows his whereabouts is asked to call the CID at 720-913-7867 (STOP).
